In a previous life I used to make and sell my ceramics under the brand Sienblue Pottery  (pronounced 'seen-bloo' ).

Since 1990 I have had to continually adapt my working methods to new studio setups & learn & test local materials each time each time that I moved; from the States to Venezuela to Taiwan to Australia to China and back to the US. Re-acquainting myself with whatever local stuff was available,

affordable and ready to use has defined the work that I make.

 

I'm a girl who likes to play with mud so it has always been worth it.
